Back in 1990, the Government seized the Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada for tax evasion and, as required by law, tried to run it. They failed and it closed. Now we are trusting the entire economy of our country to same guys who couldn't make money running a whore house and selling booze?

The talking heads are saying with the new standards for fuel and emission that the auto makers are looking to make smaller, cheaper cars.
Obama wants to mandate how to make cars. The guy can't even make dinner.
They had one of the big wigs from the place that test crashes cars (can't for the life of me remember the name of the place). He was showing crash video of smaller cars with all the fancy air bags getting slammed by full sized cars. TOTALLY WIPED OUT THE SMALL CAR. I am talking turned it into a ball. Crushed the entire cab on the little car. An air bag doesn't do any good if the driver is crushed.

My guess is that it will take the government to print a chit load more money just to meet their new Mileage and Emission standards by the 2016 date. I remember working on the convertible top for the Smart Car about ten years ago thinking it would never take off here in the U.S. but now it sounds like Obama wants all of us to drive them.
