Obama finally does something right (Well, at least 2/3 right)

I get your point Fos. In fact, I had to wash my hands after typing the headline, but hey, I'll take what I can get.

Now the real discussion is how can we keep the enviros from winning their lawsuit this time around and what caliber is the best for killing a wolf while not damaging too much hide. I would really like a pelt.

I think the main thing someone needs to do is keep record of how much these lawsuits cost the taxpayers. Eventually it will be removed and the enviro's will continue to file lawsuits and they will also try the old keep pounding their agenda through until it passes again. Right now everyones concern is money and it will be for some time. The more money it costs the taxpayers, the less likely they will be to side with the people who pass this legislation.

Maybe there should be legislation, that the govt, can countersue these groups for legal fees and say cost of occupying court time.

Might be why we are seeing some of our Public Servants changing their tunes, not wanting to face their voters in 2 or 4 years.

If you like countersuits, take a half hour and read this essay on a countersuit by a rancher that was sucessful in costing the Center for Biological Diversity $600,000 in punitive damages. It will almost make you believe that justice is not completely dead.

Thanks for the link. It was a good read. It is food for thought, that these enviornmental groups should be held liable for their actions. My point was that the govt should have the right to go after them for legal fees and court time for cases like this.
