I heard this morning that the reason that the market is up is because Bank of America and another big bank had a profitable 1st quarter. I'm sure that was due to Obama magic

Yes ! I have been sick for almost a month, with nothing to do but sit and cough and watch the news. When Howard Fineman of News week says "Obama's pedestal has serious cracks in it , that is news. They were one of his lovers. For a little more than a week, starting with the Limbaugh fiasco I have noticed a real shift away from dimbulb. All kinds of polls are against him. Yesterday he started acting like a real person instead of the Messiah and today he is actually having a White House meeting on the economy instead of his money spending bull**** .I hope he takes that dip**** Geithner to the wood shed, he is the cause of much of the problem. I am supposed to be doing my taxes while sitting here and I can't make myself do it. There is one thing that his highness didn't calculate into his 15 minutes of fame. He screwed his party. I would have to imagine that everyone of the House of Reps and Senate are walking around with a pucker factor of 10. He sold them out and now they have a year and 3/4 for house of rep, and 3 and 3/4 for his highness and the senate to figure out, exactly how they are going to face the people they represent. Bambi will be done in 2012, the house will shift back to the right next year, and the senate will change in 12 also. The talking heads were saying that Obama and Palosi may be doing serious harm to their party.
The two of them are being seen as leading the party WAY LEFT.

A lot of dems that are up for election in 2010 are already starting to balk at some of the stuff they want to do, socialize medicine, amnesty for illigals and his outragous spending bill for next year are just a few of the things that they say will be next to impossible for Obama to get thru.

The dems are asking how they can possibly get re-elected if they have to constantly be on the defensive about the bills they are supporting. Exspecially those 3 because of the current unemployment rates and the soon to be coming inflation explosion.

They are.
The problem is, they feel the answer to ALL our problems is bigger government, more control and more regulation of our lives. Because as everyone knows, a liberal knows how YOU should be living your life. They know what's better for you and they will FORCE you to do it.

As for the southern boarder.
Again, that is a political problem, not a legal one.
They feel that as long as they don't break any laws (they don't see being an illigal alien as breaking any laws) you should be allowed to work in the US and send money home. They feel that by allowing this to happen it will bring the standard of living in mexico up to the point we can form a 3 country nation (Canada, US and Mexico). They see this as the only solution to the future needs of the nation and the world. That is why they are so adament about granting amnesty. If they can FORCE the US to accept the illigals it will facilitate the assimilation faster.
Of cource there are serious problems with this plan (drugs, gangs and terrorist being major problems), they don't feel the problems are large enough that they should change cource. Obama has even put the number 2 person from La Ranza on his staff to help with the amnesty deal they will be pushing later this year.

What i was getting at, is the current battle the Mexican Govt is dealing with along the border. I think his highness will be in big trouble if that chit spills over the border and he sits back and does not deploy troops. The illegals will be a big problem for them i feel.

This oversight might be a good thing though. If the violence moves across the border, it may make them forcing amnisty to the illegals a bigger task than they have planned.

Our vaunted Homeland security chief says there is no problem at all. There are plans in place in case there is "spillage", but that is not the case right now.

Ollie, I feel that this crisis is life threatening to a lot of good, honest, hard working folks. I have been without work for the last 3.5 months. Every company that I send resumes to tell me the same thing "we don't even have enough work for our current employees". Something has to be done, SOON!
