O2 sensor wires / AEM gauge on my Dragon

I was looking at the large wire loom where the O2 sensor wires plug in and found this funky connector (see pic), it has a resistor in it. The sled has a pcIII, an slp can and intake, other than that stock. Has anyone seen this before? I know its not a stock thing, there was black tape around it.

Im also installing an AEM gauge (everyone has me nervous), where in the slp can do I weld the bung in, before the muffler or after? Or do I weld it right in the fat part of the muffler??

I dont know what it is or what is does but it came with the SLP pipe and went inline to the exhaust sensor

Looks to me like the SLP supply resistor that they supply for running the kit without a power commander. If you pull up the SLP instrustions they talk about said resistor and what its for. I pitched mine as i'm running the power commander.

Hey thanks I figured someone had to know. I purchased the sled used and it didnt have the slp pipe on it, then I bought an slp can for it.

Thanks again
