O2 Sensor location?

I am going to run a CR tunnel dump on my MCX Nytro. Does anyone know the best location to weld in the sensor bung to get an accurate reading?

Fired mine up the other day for the first time...it didnt take long for the wife to open the door let me tell ya....its fawkin loud!! No bung for me.....just drive

The bung is for the sensor for the MCX display. I have to put it in. I was told the location was important for accurate readings. I could put it ahead of the turbo but that makes me nervous as I've seen them break and then it would go through the turbo. Maybe I'll just get it as close as I can to the turbo in the tunnel dump. Everyone running a wideband has a sensor somewhere.

Different setup, but mine is about 1 1/2"'s from the turbo on the outlet pipe. Seems to read accurately.

You can order the tunnel dump with the bung welded in place. I welded a tab on the jig for it

Thanks Darko. I'll call Chad on Monday as I have dumps ordered, Lisa never asked if I wanted with or without and I didn't realize it was an option. I'll just get him to send me the ones with sensor bungs.

He's having a tough time getting the bungs, he can drill it out and you can weld it in or send your threaded one out and he can do it.

I'll look in the tickle truck today and see if I can find ya one.

I'm supposed to put MCX displays in 2 of the tunnel dumps. If you guys dont have bungs I'm sure I can track a couple down and weld them in. The only thing holding me up right now is my stuff from Chad and I don't want to delay it any longer by shipping bungs. I'll call him Monday and get him to put the holes in the right location on two of them. If you do have a bung or 2 that would be awesome
