O-ring behind kill switch????

I have read on here somewhere but I can't find it about putting an o-ring behind the kill switch so u have to hold the kill switch to shut it off. Can this work for an 08 tm8 it has the rocker style switch. I want this because there was a few times I hit the kill switch by accident and heat soaked my sled, not sweet in some situations that I have been in when that haPpend. Thanks

I would be interested to know this as well. We do this on all our other sleds, but havnt tryied it on the cat yet.

Yep i have it on my 08 m8. I did'nt install it brad the guy i bought it from did

We always did it on the button switches, I didn't think you could do it with the rocker. What did he put in there?

When i bought the sled from brad story i asked about it and he said that he put an oring in there.boondocker also sells a guard for them.i told brad i was gonna start selling kits with an oring and directions on how to install it but i never got around to it

kill switch

I dont know about an o-ring. I have a piece of 1/4 inch rubber hose under my rocker switch. it works well on 09 m8

o-ring

an o-ring will work on the kill switch. i have 2 o-rings behind my kill switch on a 2010 m8 and had them on a 2008 m1000. you have to take the switch apart to get the o-rings on. takes about 5 minutes, works great and its cheap. hope that helps.
