O.A./MSM misleads public about military adulation

Gist:
Picture shows wild adulation by US troops to BO on his visit to Iraq.
"Cheered wildly by U.S. troops, President Barack Obama flew unannounced into Iraq on Tuesday...
MacsMind contends that the troop contingent was contrived, based on an e-mail he says he received 'from a sergeant that was there.' The corresponding sergeant also dropped a telltale clue (in bold):

We were pre-screened, asked by officials 'Who voted for Obama?', and then those who raised their hands were shuffled to the front of the receiving line. They even handed out digital cameras and asked them to hold them up.

Take a look at the picture at AP and notice all the cameras are the same models? Coincidence? I think not."

not to point out the obvious, but, every pres does this...

"Mission Accomplished" while standing on the deck of a carrier in a flight suit ring a bell???

let me add this, just to be clear, I didn't vote for obama and think he's dead wrong on about 90% of his policy decisions so far...

It wouldn't surprise me at all.
No pres wants to go before a large group (exspectially the military) and be ignored or even boo'd. They want the best possible outcome and Obama knows only 15% of the military voted for him.

Politics = Acting and prop placement.

Obama's group have too much invested in the guy to let him look stupid, or another bad photo escape.

BTW, the Mission Was Accomplished. They took the country. Holding it was a different mission. But, the point is valid.

When Clinton came to Elmendorf AFB on his way to (or from I don't recall) an Asian summit, the reception was held in the hangar I worked in. Every unit on base was tasked with sending people to ensure the Prez had an audience to lie to.

When Bush came through the same building 10 years, later people were being turned away.

If Obama wants a "friendly" military audience all he has to do is visit supply, the motor pool or the chowhall.
