Nytro XTX ski stance adjustment?

Thread Rating
5.00 star(s)
Does anyone know if the XTX ski stance can be adjusted any narrower? I am trying to decide between the MTX and XTX. The tunnel, rear skid and track will all be changed anyway. I would like to have the newly designed front end, I just don't know if it will be to wide for the mountains?
Any thoughts on which way to go?

The xtx ski stance can not be adjusted, but I have been told the the xtx suspension is night and day better then the mtx. From the couple of dealers that I have talked to, if you get a xtx keep the stock suspension, if you get the mtx or have the mtx, get timbersleds barkbusters. I snowchecked a 09 xtx because I knew I was changing out the tunnel, track and rear skid and knew the front suspension was better then the mtx.

Xtx

I have an XTX and it can be adjusted. It has spacers just like mountain Yami's. The spindle comes sandwiched between two, 1/2 inch spacers, which can be moved to either side to make wider or narrower.

WOW, I guess I should pay more attention, I swear I looked, but I guess not close enough, sorry about the in-correct information.

We're in talks with Allen over at Timbersled about a possible new XTX specific skid or bracketry replacement kit to shave some weight off our PROJECT XTX which is now online on our main page. We picked ours up last week from Knapp's Yamaha in Prescott Ontario, was the first on the net in Canada! thanks Ron for the super fast delivery!!
