Nytro vs rev's???

I know there's someone out there that has run up against an 800 already............. whether it be on the hill or on the trail. Just wondering how we stack up against them? I know the HP diff & weight diff, but what about good running Nytro getting up on the snow instead of trenching. Just thinking that my Nytro feels similar in weight(just throwing it around the shop) & should be close to HP to my old 04 rev. Any opinions? I know you ALL have opinions, but any actual comparisons to the revs yet???? I'll be going head to head with a few of them as soon as I get home(hopefully soon).
Thx guys & Happy Yammy ridin':D:beer;

We have ran our's against one. The Nytro was and is not broken in yet, with stock clutching at the time, against an 04' stocker with a can and my clutch setup.
On the flats, the rev pulls one length at the start, and they stay that way through full shift out. Up the hill in pow, the rev left it pretty good. The rev had a longer track, and good clutching. I suspect if we were to not boost the Nytro, after its broken in and clutched right, it would beat it on the flats, but lag still a little behind on the hills. But alot closer than we would have thought.
Oh, tested at 10,000'.

We where drag raceing them across a lake three nytros and one rev xp 163'' all sled where new with the same miles on them they were dead even who ever got the hole shot was the winner.I rode both and did not think the xp pulled any harder then the nytro.

Raced a 08 xp 154 on the lake, it was dead even. I have never seen two sleds so even. Both sleds had around 250 km at around 6000' dead even from stop to 145 km/h approx 1/4 mile. That was a fun race never compared on the hill but I know on that day my nitro would have gone anywhere. Both sleds had muffler mods. Nitro rules I got to try a mcx nitro on the same lake it got up to the same speed in 3-1/2 seconds and kept pulling hard! (It was not my sled so I let off) Currently I am rubbing pennies together for my turbo.
ps great topic really but can't compare the two equally because they are so different. If someone wanted to trade me I'd say FU

I let a Rev owner take my Nytro for a quick spin today and was surprised when he told me it handled better than his Rev. He wants one next year.

My riding partner has a 07 XRS. We have been riding in deep snow, 81 inches in 7 days.
My new Nytro is amazing! The first 25 miles were frustrating, I must have been stuck 6 to 8 times. As I started to get the hang of it and the miles start to add up, it has become really fun. It stays on top and just keeps going. I don't want to run it wide open for long but I cut trail for everyone on Sunday. The Nytro cut through 3 to 4 ft. of loose powder better than the XRS, M8 and several RMKs. The only sled that out rode the nytro was a Tapex. The 200 hundred miles on my Nytro has been entirely ridden with a Rev. It is fun to watch a new UNbroken in Nytro lead the pack on the deep stuff. My buddies have also been kind with the praise.

IMO, the Nytro will stand tall next to any Rev Summit. As for the XP.... time will tell.:)

I rode alrevedup's Nytro - gotta admit that Yami put some time into building a good sled. I was pleasantly suprised - the powerband was nice and smooth and it really handles well. It's quite easy to turn - and electric start is like cheating. Once you turn uphill, or if you stick it in the deep, there is a difference compared to a lighter sled.

When he gets that Nytro back from the doc - and has the 162 track and a turbo, it'll be tough to top when climbing hills. We saw a Turbo-Nytro run that day, and it pretty much out-climbed everything else out there. (certainly my XRS LOL) I still have this vision of them diging it out the T-Nytro with some sort of mechanical jack apparatus.

I guess it's just a choice between a light weight sled, or smooth, quiet and somewhat heavier package. If you intend to turbo it, it's a different discussion. Neither is a bad choice.

MD. (yes, I've graduated from a 10-Step Yami program)

It won't highmark a Rev but it will be alot closer than the Rev owner is thinking. On the flats in a drag, the Nytro has way better low end power and will get the holeshot. I've also had Rev owners tell me the Nytro handles better.
