Nytro Vin #?

Just bought a Used Nytro. It has an aftermarket tunnel.
Is there anyware elese then VIN# is stamped on the Sled?

Despite what the dealer may tell you he can get the vin from the engine number or he can get the engine number from the vin. Pull the engine number off the block the Vin is in the Yamaha database. Speaking from experience here, I now always stamp the vin into the tunnel not just a rivet on plate as I've now had 3 different sleds stolen.

What kind of stamping kit do you have? I am trying to figure out what to do for my tunnel.

Thanks.

I just bought the 1/8" letter and numbers at PA. I hold a big bucking bar on the inside of the tunnel, set up a guide and whack them in. Only hit the stamp once so do some practice shots on some scrap till you get the weight just right.

I got a title but it isnt noterized and neither is the bill of sale.Every state has different laws about what you need to transfur ownership. With what I have if I get an inspection by the Sheriff to check for leans and theft reports, I can get a title but, with no vin on the sled I cant do that.
Im going to Canada next week so I need to get it licenced to get it across the border.
At least I think I do?

i wouldnt even bother trying to cross the border with out a proper vin on the machine . I swapped tunnels a few years ago and didnt cut out the vin and put it on the new tunel . I may do what M5 said just on a small tag and see if that works . It would be nice to be abale to take my sled to the states to do some riding

Thats no good, the guy I bought it from said he took it to Canada all the time.
I will have to make a tag I guess.
