Nytro Turbo?

Is there anyone here that does anything other than mountain riding with their turbo nytro? If so are you using a short track? How are they on the trails and lakes? And they fairly easy to throw around ? Have any of you made your own kits? If so did it save you any from the premade kits? What kind of HP are they generally getting on pump fuel? How do you think they would work on the drag strip in the summer?

Thanks

i took my nytro out around edmonton for the past 2 weekends because i havent been able to ride the mountains . If all youre doing is trail riding i think its a waste of money putting on a turbo , its way too much power for trail riding on that lakes and trails its not even funny how bad you beat piped out 1000's. IF you manage to hook up youre skis dont touch on the lake until about 160 kmph . i rode jimmy blazes sled last year at yamafest , it was a short track supercharged phazer ,that was a fun sled and still manageable on hard pack .

I think if you you were going to run a short track, then a super would be a better choice.

we've got lot's of Short track turbo's around here..once you learn how to ride the, it's a blast, but I would go no shorter than a 136"...

Ski lift is BAD on the 121"s...

Most sleds around here are rear mount MCX's...once set up correctly and with an experienced rider, even short track turbos are managable...

I have a 2008 Nytro 153" with a supercharger, still waiting for mapping for lower elevations. Suspension needed work ..... too soft. Good power , but got kicked by a new xp with a 860 and nitrous. I have taken it for a few squirts around home and find that I can't hook up very well, but I will get that figured. Spent 5 days in the mountains and it worked OK. I don't think it is putting out the advertized HP. As far as the weight it is a bit heavy , I rode an XRS last year.

Nytro mods so far

So far on my 08 nytro I've added
mcexpress turbo
Fox Floats on front suspesion (amust)
Ohlins adjustables in rear skid
162X16. 2.25
Motion adjustable bar riser
This is the best turbo I have had so far. I ride it in the Mountains on the lake,Ditch banging. (Jumps like my rev but father....) Best sled on the snow(myopinion)

Thanks guys. We are still debating on whether we want to to build a Turbo Nytro or build a 925 ski-doo triple in a snow cross rev chassis. We run mostly trails/open woods roads/feilds and some lakes runs. Also has anyone tried they're Nytro on the water yet ?

Thanks

I have a doo triple in a rev chassie, and had a yammie turbo..now have the stock nytro..If I were to do it all again, there's no doubt in my mind..yammie turbo ALL THE WAY...If I can sell my doo's, I will turbo the Nytro, or get another Nytro and turbo it, or get an Apex and turbo it..whatever way the next mod is, it's DEFINATLY a yammie turbo...

Here we go again with SC bad maping poor power etc .

What happened to all the other SC companies???? only MPI seems to have stuff and they always struggle.
