Running 08 Nytro MTX with a MC-Xpress Turbo at 12 psi boost.
Dalton Adjustable weights in the primary. Base weight is 73 grams.
Stock primary spring
Stock secondary spring
Stock Helix (39).

What do I need to Do? It pulls 9200 at the start of a climb and falls off to 8000 rpm at the end of a climb. Clutches are hot

Thanks in Advance.

straight 47 works ok when the track is loaded....also get your self a stiff cat primary spring in the secondary...like a epi purple or a cat sno pro green.

What springs (primary/secondary) are you running with the shockwave and what is the shockwave helix? What weights in the primary

everybody has alittle different set up that works, abu-oo primary wieghts loaded and I welded alittle extra on them, 47 helix yamaha pink spring wound to 100 degrees, y-p-y primary spring, but stock will work. 14.5 rollers.

Is that the same purple spring that slp sells?? I could not find the part number for arctic cat to order it, this dealer here doesn’t know part number by color he needs sled info year, model, ect.

I have noticed the secondary will hang up with the belt half way down the sheaves sometime and not want to go without a good belt roasting. I tried just winding the secondary (stock spring and helix) tighter but it just hits the rev limiter way too easy. Might add some welded weight to the outer rivet like suggested running more weight. May have to steal the green spring out of the king cat and try that......here kitty kitty, need some cheating parts!!

The EPI part number is ACSS-5* Purple 86lbs @ 2.5" and 148lbs@ 1 7/16"

THe cat spring is green and we all call it the snow pro green...its the stiffest one they make I believe.
