Nytro Track Angle

I'll bite... how'd they change the track angle in the '10 sled? I'd think moving the drive shaft down would effect to many other items so... it's most likely the suspension points. That being the case, wouldn't they have to move it forward a little to not mess with the balance of the sled? Or is the suspension just less in overall height? And then it would still have to go forward a smidge too, right? Not that I really care. Just thinking out loud.

Lengthen the torque arm 2", move it forward and down in the tunnel, start the rail curve farther back. In short copy the Cat geometry from 03.

is there anybody that tryed to change there attack angle if so please explain thanks or is there a kit to drop and roll one of these sleds
There is really no easy way to drop and roll because of the integrated chaincase.
You could do it with a different skid that has the rail angle M5 mentioned, or you could raise the whole suspension up into the tunnel. You would have to do a bit of grinding on the front plates inside the tunnel, but it looks doable.

Rear skid

You don't want the cat angle, If you set the cat and yamaha beside each
other the cat rail caps are lower and will cause you to spear the track.
I had Ice age build new rails to accept 08 cat suspension with the yamaha
curve, mounting points are in the same spot as factory with the exception
of the rear being raised due to the rear arm mounting height of the two skids,
this is a 162 settup and I lost 20+ lbs by changing to the cat - float settup
1000 miles stock, 600 miles with turbo and no regrets.

How long did it take Ice Age to make and ship rails? I have an 08 float skid I would like to put in my Nytro with a 162

Here's a pic of my Nytro with a Cat based Timbersled skid. You need to move all the mounting points to different locations to make it work but there are no spearing issues if you set it up properly.
