Nytro Tail Light Alternative

I don't really care for the look of the stock tail light and I'd also like to have the option to install a tunnel bag if needed. For those of you that have removed the tail light, are you installing a replacement led, or just running without one? Any pics of your set-up would be helpful.

Thanks,

..running with out one..
i think any LED tail lights are worthless in any powder conditions anyway.
maybe for leaving the lot/truck on the trail...but in the day you won't hardly see it light up anyway. in the evening it may be worth while and show up.

After smashing my rear tunnel into a tree thus taking out my stock light I dropped a LED in. Ran the wires under tunnel using landscaping watersprinkler tubing and some electrical brackets, riveted to the stock holes. Turned out pretty good. Plenty of room on top for a gas can rack.

TomMTX, this is the sort of set-up I was considering. Have you ever had issues with ice chunks damaging the wires near the back?

What I did was heat shrink all the wires and openings. You can pick up heat shrink at most hardware/electrical stores. I sealed everything really good. I intended to use and elbow in the corner but after I heat shrinked the wires I was having troubles feeding the wires through the elbow since the heat strink made it a tight fit. I had it in several deep (2-4ft+) days last year and never had a issue. I kept a close eye on it the first few rides, but now I don't think twice. All else fails everything is on a quick disconnect so I can replace easily minus drilling out some rivets.

Taillight is Fourbarr Industries, their site isn't working for me today, but here's the link: http://www.fourbarr.com
