I unhooked mine today to try and I think I like it better, what are you guys seeing??

How much time did you have on it before you pulled the swaybar Nikolai? I am thinking of doing the same. Took them out of my last 2. What advantage(s) did you notice?

One or two rides with the stock shocks and swaybar. I jump alot so the stock shocks had to go along with the swaybar. It carves extremely easy even with the swaybar, but jumping is alot better with out it.

I disconnected the swaybar and like it better.

Is there a quick, easy way to get the swaybar out other than dissassembling the front end?

I was just going to cut it and pull it out, but I see that Yammi put stops on the inside of the brackets up inside the belly pan area, that won't allow pulling out.

Gonna ride tomorrow and don't want to start a big project tonight.

Any advice appreciated.

Take off all side panels, include the bottom 3. The bottom allens (one on each side) that are accessible from where the skid plate is, are easy. The other two are accessed from the engine side. I used a ratchet strap from the front of the sled to the side plastic to give me more clearance. Then I took an allen key and a 2 ft bar and went at them. Once I got them broken free, they unbolted nicely. Good luck.:beer;

To the topic, I took mine out when I put floats on, I have ran between 50 and 90 psi on the floats. I like a sled without a sway bar, but there are tradeoffs. Can't really be more exact, it just feels looser, more tippy, but I prefer more free. It would be nice to have a quick release setup to actually test the difference. I have a hard time comparing sled modifications from rides days apart. Don't cut it and you can always put it back in. Or cut it and I can sell you mine if you don't like it.:D

Just take out one bolt on one of the drop bars and it disables the swaybar. This will alow you to easily switch back and forth to test what you like.

Thanks for the advice on removal...looks like a pain in the arss to start tonight. Will attack the project when I put the turbo on this summer.

wheel grinder and a few mins grinding. :P

get as close to the bend as possible, otherwise it will be too curved to pull out completely through the brackets.

then some hammer tapping and pulling on the other end.. the stoppers didn't seem to cause too much of an issue..

it is MUCH easier to just take off the front suspension...4-5 plastic push rivets and three bolts...WAY easier!!!!

and worth EVERY bit of the effort!!!!
