Nytro Snow coming in above the headlight

Lots of snow in and around headlight. I think its posing kind of a problem with the poorly designed boots of the steering arms. Boots have been pulled off after one ride......... thats after putting them back on from before.

If you are talking about it pluging up your gauges???make sure that when you install your hood that the 2 white tabs go into the slots.:light: You have to reach in with your hand and force them down,,if your talking about going into the engine compartment.....ignore this post;)

It melts so fast with the intercooler I don't worry about it. I had the took kit out to adjust my boost and it was dry as a bone after 10min.

What happens when you don't run your headlight at all.......
But oh boy, does the inter-cooler stay cold!

The way I look at it is, its a snowmobile. Snows going to get everywhere anyhow, so I just make it more accessible.....:face-icon-small-hap

i put expanding foam sealing tape around the headlights on my 2 mtx's fills the gap from hood to headlamp. also put prefilter material over the 2 holes next to the headlamp, on the grilles on the front area of the side panel, and the vent in front of the oil resi. i siliconed the nose cone whereever i could, and i still get alittle snow in the compartment but no where close to the amount without the sealing treatment. ski

Took the tool bag out of there and siliconed every hole and crack. The amount of snow coming into the compartment is down by 95%. The headlight thing is a non-issue for me. The holes that ram air into the radiator seem to stay clear and helps manage the engine temp quite well, even when the sled is more like a submarine.
