Nytro ski's hitting bellypan?

Anyone have an issues with the ski's or something else hitting the bottom plastic under the primary clutch? my clutch side plastic is getting beat up pretty good, it's right under the clutch right where the 2 pieces join together. Mine is getting so bad it is letting in snow. my oil tank side isnt as bad but it is still getting it as well. Don't know if it is from the ski's hitting or what is going on.

The plastic is to thin. If you are jumping it and landing in firm snow or standing it up and coming down on drifts etc. the panels are flexing to much I even managed to have the clutch chew a hole in the bottom of mine. Other's and I have had oil tanks cracking and leaking at bottom fitting i think is caused by the same thing. My brother has the float skid plate on his they come out under the belly to the sides and help with strength. I curved some heavier plastic around and rivited it to the inner panel on the bottom seems to help.

yep what a poor design, i will have to look at putting something there to strengthen it up a bit.

lots of nytro's around here do that so we just take an old belly pan protector and cut out about 4-5 in wide by 10in long peice and curve it to the side panel then rivet it on the in side panel below the clutch. never had a problem since. just have to use a little more patience putting on the side cover!!

I wonder if a guy could just use puckboard ? don't know if there is black puckboard or not? i got to do something for this issue , i just ordered all the front plastic pieces because of this issue. Both side panels, the 2 pieces that fit below the panel and the decals and it cost a fortune.

some guys have used puck board so that will work! those side panels arnt real expensive but the decals are ridiculous!! my b uddy smashed his nytro and the decals were about $500 and he works at a dealer!!
