putting gen 2's on and wonder if moving ski's all the way inside might work?any one tried?

I cut the spacer in halve so the outside spacer is 3\4" and inside 1 3\4".
So far it works good and fits my truck deck better.

Anyone notice the bolt and bushing bending? Seems like a lot of leverage...

Just curious, might give this a shot to narrow it up and maybe widen it out too...

Thanks for the info..

Cut the spacers and ran it narrowed up last year, worked good with stock skis. Have the Gen 2 skis on the new sled this year and haven't bothered to narrow it. Very little ride time this year but seemed to work good last year, may do it again. The biggest improvement last year ended up being the post move so thought I would do that and give it a try

I have no experience with Gen IIs, but with my powderhounds I cut the sway bar and moved the skis all the way in and it handled so bad and nervous I had to move the skis back out. This made a huge difference without the sway. I liked it much better with the bar out and at the normal ski stance.

i may try and narrow mine up just to get it up my deck . the gen 2s on my nytro just fit up the marathon deck ramp with an inch on either side . i

Noticed that as well. Carbides cutting the crap outa the aluminum bars. Gonna move the guides further out on the ramp or narrow the skis before the ramp gets cut through.
