Had a crappy day today broke the front arm on the Yamaha lightweight suspension kit, tweaked the mounts on the tunnel and gouged my track up. Wasn't jumping or anything crazy just goosed it on the side of the trail to pop the skis up.

Anyhow I'm now looking for a complete 162 aftermarket skid, don't want to put the crappy aftermarket Yamaha back in just to have it happen again. Anyone have on they'd be willing to part with?

Just replace the arms with a BDX lightweight skid for just over 400 bucks. I have one in my nypex.

That's what's in it now, snapped the front arm in half and tweeked the tunnel where it mounts. I'm going to more than likely pick up an ezryde for it, found a used one for around a $1000.

I'm talking about the one that goes into the ProClimbs, not the cheaper chrome version. I had the cheaper one and it bent the front arm also. The reason it does that is because the tunnel mounts are not adequately reinforced, so the suspension flexes and tweaks the arm.

However, the Ez- ride is a good route.....good luck.

I have a buddy that has an ez ryde on a boosted nitro and it is an absolute beast. Another riding buddy has a supercharged nitro running more boost with a stock suspension. The turbo gets on top of the snow so much better with the ez ryde. It will out climb the supercharger every time. You made a great choice for an aftermarket skid.
