This is what it calls for ring gap in the factory manual. I know when I built my turbo TRX 450 I opened up the ring gap .002-.004 bigger then factory specs because of the extra heat generated by turbo charging. Does this pertain to our nytros also? I am gonna start putting my motor back together tomorrow with my new rods and pistons.

Top ring:
0.33 ~ 0.45 mm (0.013 ~ 0.018 in)
2nd ring:
0.70 ~ 0.85 mm (0.028 ~ 0.033 in)
Oil ring:
0.20 ~ 0.60 mm (0.008 ~ 0.024 in)
Piston ring end gap:
Top ring:
0.33 ~ 0.45 mm (0.013 ~ 0.018 in)
