Nytro nose heavy?

Well after a few rides on the nytro i am curious if anyone else feels that it is too rider forward? i am not sure if its me, the sled or the way i have it built but there is so much weight on the ski's that whenever you nose into something it just plows hard and also notice on the trail that when you nose into a big hole that it bottoms right out and almost throws you over the bars. I also noticed that its really hard to counter stear unlike my apex which is a dream to handle, now like i said it could all be in my set up as i am running the CR m-10 and am not to sure how to set it up, but just wanted some input from other nytro dudes!:beer;

make sure you dont have youre bars too far forword . I found my nytro to be nose heavy at first to then i put on my turbo ,cranked my front shocks and put some seat time on it . the seat time helps the most it just takes some getting used to, after a few days you can carve circles around the new xpees , not to mention out climb them :D

Definatly alot more riding forward than the Apex, rednytro's right you gotta crank those front shocks up a ton to get rid of the dipping and diving. Also check your steering alingment, it's super twitchy if your not at 1/4" toe out but the main problem is the super soft shocks.

I have ridden three different Nytro's now and Yamaha sure missed the boat on the front shocks. You really have to crank up the preload. I think my floats on my Apex might even be better and thats not saying much!!

I am puzzled by one of the last statements in the original post. One of my favorite things about the Nytro is that no countersteering is realy needed. I can lay mine all the way over with little more than shifting my shoulders and a light tug on the bars, (wich I guess could be construed as mild countersteering). I can't comment on the sled being more nose heavy than an Apex as I have never been on one. But to me it feels like a tighter more responsive handling REV, but I have not tried an XP yet. It could be that I am used to a more rider forward (nose heavy) design as that is what I have just came from.

M-10's really change things. With a little tweaking to it I'm sure you'll get a feel for it soon.

Ya i know what you mean D.As you saw i was over the bars and on my head before i could blink any eye!!!A week later and I still sore.Plus with boost your going faster than a guy thinks, maybe that's why i'm so sore still.It felt like i got body slammed by Hulk Hogan!!!!Maybe time for some better shocks and ski's for me can i get your credit card number please?????Just kidding!!Might go sleddin tuesday to Tumbler with all the guys and gals,You in?Give me a call.

You might also want to ensure your feet aren't too far forward. A little bit further back on the boards creates a better feel. The Nytro is the single easiest sled I've ridden to carve in the powder. Damn near effortless. Throw a little weight from side to side and it's all the control you need.

Btw, coming off of an '05 REV.......

I also found that standing back a little makes it easier to ride.
coming off revs and an Rt it took a few rides to get the hang of it.
