I have a used mt tamer 162 rear skid. Would it be able to be mounted on a my pro 800 163. I'm thinking of using the stock holes in the front then making some drop brackets that would allow me to mount it. I should be able to just run less pressure on the fox shocks.

Would the 162 rails with big wheels be enough to make up the 1"? Or should I just put a camo extreme 3" pitch 162 in it ?

Let the poor guy that gets the Nytro have it. :P
I'd hate to ride that thing (your t-Nytro) w/o one.

And, I'm not baggin on Nytros...they actually are a great chassis and a helluva lot of fun...with a turbo.

Rotax I hear you in the nytro with stock skid = no fun.
Even The mt tamer doesn't do a good enough job of keeping the skis planted in those nasty chutes. I now have a of kmod skid for it.

I figured if I could use the mt taner in the rmk that would be a bonus. And it's way more adjustable then the stock rmk skid. Plus the rmk is either getting turbo or par 1100 so a skid will be in order anyways.

I cannot confirm that it will not work but Ice Age told me on the phone the other day that they machine the rails based on what Timbersled you have for which model machine/track length you have because they are all different. I would assume this is because of different mounting hole locations on different brands tunnels, which would make for different length/size Timbersled arms and means that there's probably a slim to none chance that a nytro set up would fit a pro.

If I were you I'd call Timbersled, they are always super willing to answer tech ?'s

X2. Call the people who make it. I am sure the center to center mounting is different as well as the mounting position on the front arm. Not that it cannot be done, just may be more trouble than it is worth.
