Ive just purchased my first 4 stroke built by timbersled so it has almost everything you can imagine already on it with a MPI stage 2 SC to push it.
I have just ordered the close loop fuel system to add this summer. My concern is with the motor which is stock i want everything to hold up what engine mods should be made?

If its a Stage 2 it should already have a headshim. You could also get rods, pistons and headbolts. Biggest thing is to make sure you use good fuel for the amount of boost you run.

It is set up to run straight 110 so i will probley keep it that way for now unless i i can run a mix i just want to keep it reliable.

I'm running 12 psi on straight 100ll avgas for 3500 miles without missing a beat. 2000-10,000ft (WA to WY)

Hey Heath i just bought the sled from west coast sleds jason told me to call you
im not sure what pulleys are on it but i ride from 4,000-9,500 in idaho

engine mods

1 . arp head studs

2. a set of crower rod from MPI
3. I would keep the stock pistons
4 . run 110 sunoco,or trick race fuel 100% no mix
5.have alot of fun !!!!

Everyone posting all of these engine mods...keep in mind this is a S/C, not a turbo.

14 psi on a S/C is not the same as 14 psi on a Turbo (same psi, but less volume)...this is why (one reason) a turbo makes more power at the same psi.
