Well I tried them and wasnt to impressed...they work but barley. On my apex I put 03 rx1 grips on and they steamed....worked awsome. So I thought I would try em on here. Well rode today in tons of snow gettin lots on the gloves....had it on one to 3 ticks all day....wow what a difference. easy fix if anyone wants hotter hands.

I'm no electrical genieus, but there has to be something to these handwarmers. I put a set of 06 bars on my warrior. Wired them like the stock warrior bars, and they where mildly warm. rewired them with a positve and a negative to both sides, and they are way hotter than the stock hot bars where. It has to be a voltage thing, and there has to be a way to somehow up the voltage on the new sleds. Just wish I knew the answer as to how. My buddies 07 apex sucks, and we need to find a fix for it. Bent my stock bars on my Nytro (grips sucked by the way) Put on a set of Vector bars that come with the grips & a resistor.$149.00 Can. removed the resistor & they plug right in. Wow Hot grips now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just ask your dealer for the recalled Vector bars from last year. My dealer told me these bars are only available untill March then the recall is done. I bought two more sets so when I bend my bars again it is a quick change. By the way Nytro bars are $180.00 can + $110.00/side for the new hot grips.

will the RX 1 grips plugg in to the nytro harness and still be able to use the same control or what? what else do you need to change to RX1 grips if any thing?

The rx1 grips are a solid end grip with the element molded into the rubber...it comes with a 6inch pigtail....2 wires...just cut off the harness from the stock grip and solder er up....5 minutes and yes they work on the gauge...one or two ticks on the gauge is all you need.

If you use the Vector bars the harness is long enough to plug right in.Same shape to the bars but they are a couple inches taller. All of your stock cables are long enough it is about a 15 minute swap with no cutting splicing involved.Unbolt your throttle block & Brake assy bolt onto new bars.unbolt your bars from stock riser & install new bars.run wires into stock loom up to plugs on headlight bracket & your done. Dont know why you would want to use RX-1 bars that are different have no hooks & you have to cut & splice?
