I noticed that the factory filter for the Nytro is nothing much. It looks like a shop paper towel wrapped around a plastic cage. I found some corrosion on mine where the filter wasn't doing to much. I removed the paper towel wrapping and added an earls filter by the battery. I had this before I removed the original filter and was suprised on how much got by and was caught by the earls filter.
