after a year of riding my whole front end is shot on my nytro . so im wondering what some guys did for there front end set up this year and how they liked it ? also did any one see the nytro at yamafest with the elkas on it ?

timbersled

Just installed these last night...no ride time yet, but should be fun...saved 9 lbs. and increase turning and camber...

also, if you need factory stuff, I have a full set, sitting in the garage if you want them make offer...

and the leftovers (minus the tierods...) and the evidence of the sway bar removal process :)

Did you try the front end without the sway bar before you removed it? I found the factory shocks too soft and went to air shocks. I tried my front end with a sway bar link off and it was even softer. Kinda tough to put the sway bar back in with the sawzall if you don't like the result. I saw the Elka's but didn't get a chance to talk to the guy. I rode the demo with the new Fox shocks for next year and liked them. I also have the Bark Buster front end.

got floats on way...have heard that about the stockers....

is spring, and getting loads o new stuff for the sled....

I had my spindles welded, got new greasable lower ball joints(stock are junk) and oil lite bushings in the a-arms. It's holding up extremely well and I'm very happy. Next is to machine 2.5 mm off the tie rod to get more camber.

Any pictures of any of this Nilolai? Mainly the welded spindles & greasable lower joints.

1st if the tie rod mount and welded spindle, second is the ball joint, 3rd is the 1/2" axle bolt I'm using.

That is where the spindles are weak. The ball joints came from a local dealer but I'm hoping to be all setup to make them this summer.

any one with gytr s or ohlins on there sled for the year ?

I had both, and both are/were awesome. Ohlins are build better forsure, but the GYTR's have dual clicker rebound/compression. Took me about 2hrs of setting up and once they were i fell in love. The valving is great, just played with spring tension and the 2 clickers. I wouldnt hesitate to buy a set, there well worth it IMO.

I wouldnt buy stock floats, next years float X w/ piggy Rezi are 10 times the shock than stocker floats.

so you liked the new floats:D:beer;

Darko, how would you rate the 3 following shocks (1 to 10, 10 being the Best)?
I currently have stock Floats on my Turbo Nytro, I've never ridden these other 3. Thanks

Ohlins
GYTR's
Fox Floats X w/piggy Rezi

May be a dumb question, but for those of you that have Floats on your Nytro, Where did you get them, and what part number are they?? I asked Fox about them & they told me that they would not have them out untill next year 2009????

The shocks from the Nytro RTX are the exact same length and swap right over. Try to find an RTX owner that ditched the Floats for GYTR's.
