Nytro E-brake brake lever?

Anybody know of an aftermarket brake lever with a brake lock on it or rig up some kind of wedge that will keep the brake on?

Still amazes me Yamaha added the cost and weight of 2-dozen parts for an e-brake when a $.25 part on the brake lever would accomplish the same thing.

I'm running a Doo XP lever on mine which has a lever lock. Ditched the Yammi E-brake caliper, line and master cylinder/lever assembly. I had to get a custom brake line made to work in conjunction with the Doo lever and Yammi caliper. I also attached the grip and headlight controls to my riser...everything worked out really nice - way less clutter up on the bars and shaved a few ounces:D

I'll snap some pics when I get a minute...

I removed mine and cut all the crap off the brake lever/reservior. Should be way cleaner when it's back together.

Might be different for nytros, but on my rx1 I removed the e-brake because it was shot and just used a small bolt to hold the brake handle from releaseing, simple and costs me $0.02 :)

Yamaha does it that way because someone somewhere would put the unit in storage with the brake lock on and de pressurize the master
Then go blast around wide open with no brakes, after the fiery crash there would be a class action laws suit and recall for a billion dollars
Welcome to the world where idiot's are responsible for all the thing's you dont like about the product you buy
