***Nytro Boondocker Turbo help***

okay...we've got one of the two nytros up and running (both will be the same set up). we're going to get one right before we build up mine (nice to have a guinea pig...thanks sean ashbrook at shaver lake power center!)

first off...is anyone running different fuel mapping numbers than what boondockers has for the garrett 28 turbo set-up? if so...could you share them with me?

has anyone had a low-end gurgle after install on your first ride? if so, any ideal what that could be?

we've got a couple of prologger boost control boxes coming from outlaw (thanks dustin!) hopefully we can get the mapping and clutching down here in the next day or so.

sean had to tow it home last night due to a bad electrical connection that killed the injectors. not sure on that either.

No we did not use there numbers. On a couple settings, if you are off one number, it dont run.

What elevation are you riding at?

im not running the BD set up but i am running a pro logger and once you figure how to use them there awsome , so many tunning options and you can see exactly what youre A/f s were duning the last run with out looking down at a gauge during the run . Changing youre boost is super easy too just hit the up button :D

this is a big factor, boondocker set mine for thier eleveation and it was off. I am at 3 thru 5 thou in elev, I can give you mine if you are close to that. Now that I played with the b/d box there are no hesition and the sled rips still need to tune the clutch...

my bad...i forgot to mention elevation...

we ride between 5K and 9K. most of the hard pulls and 'real' riding is in the 7K to 9K range.

Injector Fault

Found one problem. Need to run the ground to the battery. To many rubber groments in bolts keep from a good negitive connection. Hope to install the prologer tomorrow and get this thing online. At top end and 15lbs of boost, its scarry!

Any help w/ numbers from 7k-10k we would apreciate, (Thanks JSCC)

sweet! thanks for the numbers bud! i will forward to sean a SLPC and he can test them tomorrow.

some of you have suggested dumping the bd box altogether...thanks for the all the advice everyone has sent in...we'll see how it goes.

You might check on the new temp compensation update (not sure if it's released yet for the Nytro). I noticed during the day A/F ratios would vary depending on intercooler temps (sled still ran fine), but when I added the temp sensor to the intercooler with the new programming, A/F ratios were constant all day! The intermittent pop during accleration doesn't seem as bad or is not noticeable either.

Progress Report !

Snow Eliminators installed. Avid Drivers installed. Turbo complete. Wating on Pro Logger & Track. Maybe tuesday completion.
