The Nytro comes with a 8dn-17641-00-01, is there any difference between that and the .....00-00. None of the dealers I spoke with have the 00-01 yet and I don't like riding without a spare.

Good luck getting a straight answer on that one, half the dealers i spoke to said "it's the same belt, but new part #", the other half said "i have no idea if there the same or not". LOL Nice !!!!!
Im running an Apex (8DN-00) on my Nytro because i had a spare from last year with only a ride on it, and because i couldnt get a straight answer i wanted to try it. Between the 2 belts (00 and 01) the engaugement, back shift, RPM's etc are all the exact same. Take that for what its worth, im not saying there the exact same because no one with some knowledge has told me, but they work identical on my sled so i'll continue running it.

The difference between the 00 and the new 01 belt is extremely small... Mitsubushi (sp) added a final sanding process to the new belt tooling, so basically you dont have to wash the new belt ie 01 vs the 00. That is the short story version, and it lets you save about 10$ on every belt as well.
