Nytro After Market Seats?

Anyone have info or opinions on light weight seats with storage space.
I'm running a rear mount MCX. What fits and looks good, works good.

Doing a one off seat right now for the MCX rear mt with a trunk....murray (mountainmod.com) and I have the base done just dont know if the numbers are there for this style of seat....maybe there is....

Went to look at the seat today. Looks really good but was a little to wide so I am having it shaved down to almost stock width. It should be about 3 inches higher than stock and you will not feel the tank underneath you. He said it should be done Monday. I will post pics as soon as I get it back.

got an email from murray saturday, they are working on the nytro seats this week.

noob, not to pee on your your parade but, i was told by a boss distributor that boss wasnt going to start working on designing the nytro seats till sept or october. kind of a shame they cant get their stuff to market quicker. i mean this chassis has been on the snow for 2 full years with prototypes, preproduction and consumer released units last year.

i love their products dont get me wrong.... but, what do we expect from a company who cant update their website since 07? ski

deadly that seat looks way better than any after market seat ive seen .id even go so far to say that seat couldd make a sled alone ! how is it for feeling the tank through the seat though ?oh and what the ball park on it with out a logo

Hey Rednytro,

I cannot feel the tank at all and I am a big guy. My seat weighs more than stock but it is well worth it. I also used resin in mine because I craked the shell cutting it down to fit the seat over the tank last year so that added some weight. We also use gel pads which have become real popular on custom street bikes. The gel pads are buried down 2 layers so it's not that noticeable but it does add a level of comfort. We can do any color and we can build any height. Each seat is truly custom. We can make it wider or more narrow depending on your preference. I will get the measurements of how high mine is past stock but I believe it is 3 inches. We use your seat and build off that platform so it is a very close fit to stock. You pay to ship it to me and I will pay to ship it back. Canadian brothers will pay a bit more due to the border stuff.

Update

Update. We are going to put an attachment system on the seat. There will be a guide bracket under the back that will slide on to a receiver then the front will have a snap flange that will snap onto the side of the tunnel. No more velcro. Should have pics up Thursday of it mounted and attached to the sled.
