I have a 2009 yamaha nytro and at this time am getting it ready for the upcoming season. I noticed the right spindal in an almost vertical position. the upper a arm close to the shock, as in has made contact. it is the updated subframe and a arms look straight. I am putting my best guess its the sub frame. Has anyone come across this similar damagecould it be a arm damage just not being able to se or more then likly a subframe. and if it is a subframe can i change that out with out removing my motor and surge tank for my turbo kit?
Thanks.

Its the sub-frame. Even with the updated one the, the design of the subframe is weak. The bottom tubes have a nice curve to them with nothing directly behind the curve to support it from bending any further. when a tube is bent, by nature it is way easier to bend it further.

I honestly think it is by design that they made it a weak point between the suspension the the very expensive aluminum bulhead it bolts to I replaced mine the first time in about 6 hours and i switched out my front suspeion at the same time

I took my time and it was straight forward. Not sure with a turbo. if anything is bolted to the subframe it will obviously have to be removed.

Look at the skinz sled on Youtube, they show how they gusseted it and I just copied the pics. Have nailed it pretty hard since and seems pretty bullet proof
