The beacon use and rescue scenarios are especially helpful in understanding just what it will take to save someone. Though, as the class will teach you, if you get caught in an avy, you have already done something wrong.
This class will help remind you of what to look for in snow conditions and terrain, and also common mistakes we all make about what is and isn't safe out there in the mountains.
