numbers for boondocker

You should be asking your pipe mfg for that info. Speedwerx gave me the boondocker settings for my sled with their pipe kit. If you have read your instructions for the boondocker box, you can see it is a fairly involved setup with low, mid and high for each RPM range. I'd get a map to start with, then tune from there.

All great questions. Your numbers will NOT match anyone else's unless you are running the exact same fuel pressure, setup and elevation as them. Even then they would probably be different.

clutching and rpm are important factors as well, you have to tune the box to the rpm the bd box says and not your stock gauge( they can very some times) lots of clutch weight usually requires more fuel as well. Like said talk to the manufacturer of the y-pipe and can to get a base line. then you need to pull plugs and check piston wash. If you don't have egts, Get Some or all bets are off. my bd numbers change a little every ride.

Get a set of pyro gauges. start with that. dont go over 1200 degrees. I started with Speedwerx numbers they gave me. way out to lunch. had to remove fuel in some areas and then add to other areas. Runs bang on now. i ride at 8000 feet and 2000 feet at home. 2 different maps but they are close.

ALways start out rich and pull fuel away.

things always change because your rpm always changes, not even the stock map is always spot on
