Had a huge eye opener with the local news a few years back, was involved in an avy that killed a guy, local news was at the trail head when we got out, they didn't interview one person that was involved but still wrote up a clip that night. Watched the news, read what they printed and it was nothing close as to what really occured. Taught me if the can mess something up that they have no agenda in, what is to keep them from doing it in something that they have a strong opinion on. I pretty much don't trust any news these days, try to research, find facts, and then make up my mind instead of having the news tell me what to think.
