Was Bernie Mac a Sciencetologist also? Just wondering if there's a connection.

But his time on the show ended in acrimony after 11 years in 2006, when he quit saying the writers had gone too far in their now-notorious episode lampooning the Church of Scientology, to which Hayes belonged.

Not sure...but I read a quote from one of the South Park creators in reference to Chef quitting because he viewed the scientology episode as hateful, etc. Quote was something to the affect that Chef had no trouble cashing tons of checks when they ripped on Christians. Interesting point.
