I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I already enjoy my 4-10's! I know they are longer days, but riding on fridays and cutting first tracks is the DEAL!!!!!

Whats the diference, 40 hours is 40 hours, no matter if you do it in 4 10s or 5 8s. I had a four 10 schedule for a while and loved it. I could actually go places on the weekends aound Alaska instead of just nearby. Right now I work 4 11s and an 8, with two weeks off every seven weeks, and when the over time goes a way I would take 4 10s any time. In Alaska where I live most people have some sort of alternative schedule to keep people happy and sticking around.

I work 4-10's and would never work another job that didn't have that schedule. Once you work it, you would never go back to 5-8's. So much time for free time to camp, hunt, sled, ect.

Changing the schedule is fine, 4-10's is great ....

The justification they gave for doing this however is an epic pile of bull**** the likes of which could only have been acheived by the federal government ... at least until the utah state government did this.

Seriously, I am so sick of this "global warming" horse **** as justfication for everything it's depressing me...

I mean seriously, what is this .... the Masons usurped power from the Illumaniti and discovered a vehicle for a mass cultural reprogramming of our minds or something and now the entire US government system is the front?

I never really thought of it, but the advantage to working 4-10's is that most people don't, meaning VERY few people in the hills on fridays!

I know what ya mean, about global warming being an excuse for everything. I think it is just to keep people scared, the world has been constantly changing long before man ever stepped foot on this earth, and will continue to keep changing no matter what, has eveyone forgot about ice ages, pangea, etc. People try to use averages for eveything, but averages do not mean anything, nothing will ever be the same every year, some summers are hot some are cold.
