Can a notched helix be run on the mechanical reverse that comes with the non-notched straight 36??? Wanting to try some different helix's on an 08 M-series but all I have is notched helix's.. Thx
Yes, they can be used because it still ramps the same up the helix with the 07-08. The switch is actually done with the planetary gears inside the case on these and not by throwing the secondary clutch itself into reverse.
