Which helix/spring you running. You could try a polaris almond see if your rpm's come up then.

What elevation are you at ? And waht temp are you going for ? I have a 97 with the same pipes it runs good with the r11 silver spring in 3 rd hole. 10-56 and the poo almond spring pulls 8000-8100. At 6000-9000 ft. Jets I won't go there cuz if you lean it out by my advice and burn it up I don't want the bad feelings. My advice on that is wash and plug read go with what works.

Did you turn rs with this set up before? how many miles our on your clutch?
I have found that with the almond/gold you need a light 58 or ground to 57 at 6000 to 9000 ft. get your clutching a little closer before you mess with jets unless it is so rich it is fouling out. :face-icon-small-con

yes on the hard pack in the warmer weather , i think ive got the jetting down and i exploded a belt doin about 80 in the trail and it has not been the same i m thinkin it may be something in the secondary. i have had my primary apart and cleaned and i try 10-56 and it didnt seem to change much. just trying to see what other people got in theirs. i am normally 4000-7000

If you pulled RPM before and now after blowing a belt it does not. I would check to see if it took out your seal on your crank behind the clutch. Take the belt off and spray some carb cleaner in on the seal when the sled a at an idle. If the motor changes RPMs when you do this it has a bad seal.

OR, the old belt was so worn and had been trying to compensate for it with changing clutching...it could mean that you need to reshim.
