has any one ran a head and noss together? i live in utah so ride higher elevation and i would like some input on what head who's noss what worked what didn't

Well consider this: Nitrous builds cylinder pressure. High compression head builds cylinder pressure. Proper fuel octane required for either one or both. Considering you are only on the spray a minimal amount of time compared to a full days ride, I would get the head you need for your elevation, I would then run a nitrous system that allows you to use a seperate fuel reservoir so you can run high octane fuel for the nitrous.
i guess i shold tell you i ride the 07 with the 800 R motor and i would just like to know who has a good head and noss set up i heard rk tec was good from some ppl then some ppl say no but i think thats about all i heard about heads then i was thinkin a boss noss sistem

If it were me, I would use Art's 14:1 head (Engine Tech), what is your riding elevation? I personally like a true wet nitrous system like Nitrous Express or N.O.S. With those systems you are able to use Race Fuel of whatever octane you need in a seperate reservoir. Nitrous isn't for everyone, so do your home work first.
i ride in a normal day anywhere from 6000 to 11500 ft and mostly trees but just need something a little extra and they dont make much for the 07 pipe wise and all that just was thinkin a head and noss would be fun

Aaen makes a nice pipe for the 07.
There maY not be many great mountain pipe setups for the old girl but there are plenty of strong big bore kits that love the 800R
