Northwest Glacier Cruisers - Events Update

The Northwest Glacier Cruisers is planning some great events.

March 10 - Playday at the Kensington Warming Hut. Poker Run, BBQ and Raffle tickets will be sold for a Avalanche Beacon and Probe to be raffled at the Shoot out which is scheduled for April 14.

The Shoot out this year has lots of exciting events including a Raffle, BBQ, our local dealers (Lifestyles Honda, Mt Baker Motosports and Skagit Polaris) will be bringing some sleds for all of us to try, we will also be collecting food for a local food bank. Bring some canned/non perishable food or some cash for donation. A couple bucks for the BBQ would be greatly appreciated also. Tune up your sleds and come up and join us for great fun!

Tickets can also be purchased by sending your name, phone number and money to PO Box 80, Burlington, WA 98233.

Can someone tell me how far down blue lake is it to the warming hut?

Just past the Gravel pit. We were not able to put it up by the toilet at the end of the road, due to early snowfall, so we placed a portable just past the gravel pit. My guess is that is is about 5 miles from the Y, not sure. There will be plenty of members up there this weekend, follow one of us up....come check it out and have a hamburger!
