North Routt, anyone want to ride this weekend?

Want to get in a ride this weekend, was dying to ride the last three weekends, but all my buds where on vacation or out of town. Call me at (970) 846-6386 the night before if you want to ride, I don't have access to the web at home. Love to boondock and ride the tree's, and with this snow I think we could go almost anywhere. Riding to the top of Sand Mtn was looking pretty good last weekend, but with the melt, ???

Rode Sunday, awesome day. Hero snow let us find new places to ride, and powder stashes for next season. Air temo was around 50 deg, but the snow was soft from the previous storm so the sleds stayed cool ...clutch was hotter then the engine. Will ride again this coming Friday.

Rode North of Nipple Peak Friday, good boondocking and the snow was great for mid-May. On Saturday, we rode North to Hog Park and the snow was turning to slush on the way back. I think this will be it for the season.

When we returned to the gravel pit in Columbine, there was a group of four (family) heading out, and as we where loading up and getting ready to leave, the lady came back and said her husband just broke his leg. So we had to unload or sleds, and go pull him out ...luckly he was only about a mile back in. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery.
