Awesome! So how does the freeride handle in the XM chassis? So excited to hear 
What ski stance did they go with on this?
norona when would you consider a person a candidate for upgrading from a summit x to a freeride?
Just lookin at comparison/specs:
The Freeride is [at its narrowest], 1" wider than the Summit [at its widest].
Freeride: Ski stance = 975 mm or 1019 mm / 38.4 or 40.1 in
Summit: Ski stance = 907 mm or 950 mm / 35.7 or 37.4 in
Hey guys lucky, you bet! Love the look and feel of the FreeRide!!it is the best looking sled ever produced of any manufacture! I have 150 miles on it now and as many of u know I am not a big jumper! I am really a summit rider! The best guys can jump anything so it is not that the summit can't jump but the FreeRide is just beefed up! It comes with a 38 or 40 front end so 2 inches wider than summit. I use to run my do and 2011-2012 summits at 38 but since ridi g the xm at 36 I just so t go back! The FreeRide is awesome but IMHO the summit is a lighter and lighter feeling sled that rides up better on the snow and is way easier to ride! The FreeRide is sick sled for those who rip and need a strong chassis and those who want what it is will love it! But for me I prefer the summit and after Steph Schwartz riding it today she confirms that!! They will sell a whack of these and the customers will be happy forsure!
