non starting Nytro mtx

I'm getting an error code 1 with the engine symbol, and the starter is just clicking, the battery is charge. This is a nytor mountain 2011.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

Error code 1 is mostly a voltage problem (bad Battery) or bad ECU

The starter relay can go bad also.


If you are using a teather switch by pass it and retry.

Sounds like the relay. Very common with the Nytro. Before I replaced my relay I would cycle the key trying to start it a few times and it would kick over. If not the relay is in front of the battery. The terminals green and don't make contact take a look there.

Relay is a common problem! Just by pass it with a jumper cable and start machine that way!

I jumped the starter relay and had a spark between terminals (unplugged relay an put copper staples so I could jump wires). Now the meter display is no longer working; do you know the location of the fuse that controls the meter display? Is there anything else that would prevent the starter from engaging the motor?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
