non ethanol gas stations

So did anyone run 88 in there sled (polaris pro) and have any det codes pop up or were you good to go?
Another is if you did run it what did you mix with it to get to the 91 RON

Ran it in my 08 700 last year. I live right near RB's in centerville. Worked fine going to run 91 in the pro this year.
I work in SLC and Craig's Service Center on

Salt Lake City - East, UT 84105-1545

Didn't see Craig's service on 13th, on the list. Anyone know if he still sells non-e?

Craigs

I stopped by Craigs probably just about a month ago and they were still in business and selling ethanol free. However, while I was there, I saw a note about it being 88-91 octane and not a full blown 91. I talked to the guy and he confirmed that they indeed do not guarantee it to be 91, they only guarantee it to be 88, so then suddenly they are now just the same as everybody else around town.

For what it's worth, my plan is just to buy some VP110 from the prostop in Riverton and mix that with ethanol free 88 from wherever I happen to be able to get it on the way up to the mountain. The VP110 has lead in it, but my understanding is that the lead won't hurt anything in my cat.

Thanks for the update on Craig's. I've been mixing 20% TT 111 with my gas. The local truck driver here in town picks it up for me, at rhinehart, for a pretty good price.

I run the 88 non ethanol from the Silver Eagle here in Heber City in ALL of my sleds, including 800 pros, 600 rmks, summit 600's and doo 550's. No problems in any of the snowmobiles. No det codes, nothing. On my rmk 600's and Pro 800 rentals I do set them to the ethanol setting just in case a renter puts something else in it (we require them to use the non ethanol, but you never know). But on my personal I have it set to the non ethanol setting and no det codes.

Yeah the new sleds are designed to handle the ethanol for the most part, and the old sleds have big enough tolerances to handle the ethanol. Its a good habit to run non-ethanol if its practical for you. Lessons learned, I ran a tank of diesel in my 98 670 back in high school, I swear it made the motor last that much longer...another 6k miles without pistons or rings or any of that stuff.
