Non-Ethanol Fuel Wenatchee

We used to use AG Supply but they no longer carry non ethanol fuels. Does anyone know of any other place in the Wenatchee area that carries non ethanol gas??? I don't want to put crappy fuel in this new sled.

fuel alternative

Non-ethanol fuel is no longer available in WA, this comes straight from my fuel supplier, and heard rumor that it will be illegal in WA to dispense from a commercial pump after November 1. If you blend 20% AVGAS(100LL) with 91 octane ethanol premium, you will have a 92 octane blen that you can run your non-ethanol plug with. At this blend it costs about $4.25/gal.

I used Apple Valley Petroleum on 5th street all summer for fuel in my boat, but haven't been there in a month. I'm "hoping" they will still carry ethanol free gas, but if it is truly state law, they probably won't anymore. Crap.

I have heard that all of the Conoco stations in Yakima that used to sell E-Free fuel, but haven't verified that for sure.

Shoot, I have no idea what happened to my Ethanol pug for my Pro. Looks like I might start trying the Av gas route. Can anyone verify the above post about mixing Avgas and E-Fuel?

Solved...

Talked with the guys down at Apple Valley Petroleum today and they carry Ethanol Free fuels, as many of you already knew of course. They will continue to carry it until the government tells them they cannot. So, if you need that type of fuel, go there this winter. I know I will be.

list of non-ethanol stations

Here is a list of stations in WA providing non-ethanol fuel, check your station in the details section to make sure info is current. I am going to check with my supplier tomorrow morning, as he stated to me that the rack in moses lake was out of non-ethanol and that as the racks across the state run out they will be switching them over to ethanol. But at the moment it does not look that way, sorry for the above post of being not available after November 1, I was passing on information I believed to be true without checking myself. We'll see what he has to say in the morning

talked to lady at apple valley and she said she has not heard anything about that but was going to check on it....... so like the post up higher said just go to them, i went there all last year and will go there as long as they keep it E-free..........

Plain grocery that used to be ethanol free now has ethanol. I know some, including me, are asking Bill to look into changing suppliers. Hope he can!

stopped at the Conoco in Selah today to get some diesel (where I would always buy my E-Free fuel) and guess what......it's now contains up to 10% ethanol. Now what ????

According to that list now, there are NO stations in Yakima selling non-ethanol...

Use star tron and go sled Jesus..
"Ethanol / E10 fuels increase the amounts of water and sludge in your fuel tank.
Star Tron breaks down this excess water and sludge to sub-micron size allowing it to be safely burned away during normal engine operation.
Therefore Star Tron prevents phase separation and fuel gelling, eliminating ethanol fuel problems."....straight from Star Tron's website, it cures the damaging effects on fuel from ethanol, keeping it from going bad, but does not give you the same performance as non-ethanol fuel, BIG DIFFERENCE!!! Don't get me wrong, it's a great product and I use it, but it's use does not allow you to run your non-ethanol plug on sleds that allow you to choose

Possibly a stupid question, but what about race gas or visiting the local air field would they have ethanol free fuel?

Been to Apple Valley recently, still non-eth. Plus, they have Trick at the pump and diesel with additives already in it. Their diesel is the only from-the-pump ultra low sulphur diesel I've found that has enough lubricity to keep your injectors as quiet as if you put a quart of 2-stroke oil in.

My sled runs better with non-eth plug even if I am running eth.. No question about it IMO. What would be the drwbcks of running in as such?
