Non ethanol fuel in Crested Butte?

Good luck with that we had the only one here in eagle last year and this year they told him no more or fines would be awarded.
Schweitzer Oil in Gunny used to have it, but they've sold/closed.
Not aware of any- may need to source it in Denver/COS.
Now, if you need eco vegi-fuel w/ hemp additive...

Yep, it's now illegal to distribute non-ethanol fuel in Colorado. I also found out that a local fuel supplier couldn't do it simply because his distributor wasn't able to bring it to him. You might find someone who is selling it because they bought several barrels into the state. Expect to pay some money for that.
Hmm. Gunnison Tire in Gunny advertises (or at least did last time I was there, 3 weeks ago?) to have non-ethanol 91 octane. Its right on Highway 50, a few blocks west of Main (Highway 135). Guess I'll have to look and see if they changed their labels. I know I can tell my Edge 800 sled runs a little more lean when I don't use Gunnison Tire's fuel...

pretty sure its not illegal to sell non-ethanol fuel. I was recently down in south fork and talked to the manager at the conoco there which sells non ethanol 91. I specifically asked him about it. He said its no problem to get he just has to special order it by the truckload from the refinery. He does it just for the snowmobilers. It is more expensive which is why most stations choose not to order it.

It's illegal in the Denver Metro area. Same reason they have emissions testing on vehicles and Western Slope doesn't.
Alright then. I'll vouch for Gunnison Tire carrying 91 non-ethanol fuel. If you're driving to Crested Butte, you'll drive right through Gunnison and can buy fuel there. Its 28 miles south of CB. Unfortunately there's only E-10 in CB proper.
