Nominations for a free premium Membership

As there are a few among the Colorado section that go out of their way to help fellow members wheather it be on conditions,technical help or a member that has been helpfull but has run into hardship brought on by the slow down in the economy.
Please through out this thread post the nominees names and after next weekend we can get all the names together,start a new thread with a poll with the members names and you can pick a couple of members that deserve the recognition and a free premium membership.
Also this section of the forum needs a moderator if anyone would like to step up for the job please PM Christopher.

Wheather or not decisions have been made and I can not see them changing their minds now.
We either live with it or move on,I chose to stay and pay even though I did not have too.
I love this forum and decided that $10.00 was not much to lose if it does not work out,but am going to give it a chance.
Times are a changing and the way things have changed in my life time this one is small.I don't want to offend anyone I just want us all to stay as the helpful,friendly group that I first joined a few years ago.

Actually there are some members that are having a rough time with the way the economy is.I know before I joined I had to go online to see if I had room on my credit card to join.

I agree. If you are sledding, the $10 bucks should not be an issue. It cost's much more than that to sled for just one day. Fuel for the truck, fuel for the sled, oil......it all adds up pretty fast. IMO if you are sledding, you can pull $10 from somewhere.........

It isn't the price, it's the principle. They pretty much rudley and arrogantly forced this down everyones' throats. The site was FINE the way it was. Nobody asked for or wanted all this "extra feature" crap. All anyone wanted was for the database to be fixed so we'd stop seeing errors. Aside from that, the site was fine.

It wouldn't have even been an issue for me if they'd gone about doing it in a nicer manner. At first I was totally OK with the idea, but then after watching the way in which they went about it, I was pretty much like "f that, I'm not paying" ....

I realize eventually everything is going to level off, but I still say it's pretty f'ed up the way they went about bringing this on.

Actually due to bad health and a real bad economy,I went through bankruptcy last year.I have no credit other than a prepaid mastercard.I have two crane trucks that have not turned a wheel since basicly last Nov.
While you are there bashing me for taking what little I have left to keep a site that I believe in just remember at least I did put effort into this site,not only financially but with what free time I have modding on this site.I am also involved with our local snowmobile club and spend a lot of time getting a few different rides together for spinal cord research,a disability that has effected me and my family.
I guess if that is my mentality,well I can live with it,I don't mean you or anyone else any harm.And I am not insulting you
At one time I held a lot of respect for you and your Irwin Report,got me started on my smokindave report.I still do,and can understand your anger.
Oh well no hard feelings on my part,we all have our own opinions.
I can't drink beer,I have a rough enough time standing up,I don't smoke and I believe in God,and I also support this site.Now you know the rest of the story.

Wow....... Most of the comments here are pathetic...... When are people going to get over the fees? Either you go with the flow, or you don't..... Has it not been clear, we are not going to change what they are doing. You can be a free basic user, buy the paid membership, or leave... Very simple.... I personally chose to buy the membership and see how it goes. If the same chit continues, I won't renew....

smokindave was trying to do something nice and gets totally flamed for it..... You are all acting like a bunch of teenage whiny b!tches..... There are places to voice your issues and/or concerns, but please don't start it in every thread out there...

Kaleb offers avy courses and practice all of the time and Paul and Dave never have anything bad to say about anyone. They are buds with almost everyone and never cause problems. I don't know 1bigcat.

What is the money for?

Wont be able to sell a free site would ya. Start charging a small fee and then when the site creates revenue it is worth something and would be sold to someone else. Just a guess of whats to come. Having to pay sucks, been reading this site for many years, decided to join and now a bunch of people leaving........Just a thought a pay site might be more informative and turn out better anyway.
