Noisy Stripped Gears ?

I need some help. I took my 07 660RMK out for a road ride today. I slid to a stop and heard a sound like gears stippping. When I tried to go again I the sled barley moved and I heard loud grinding noise from under the secondary clutch. Is is possible to strip the splines where the secondary slips on the jackshaft ? What else could it be. I did slide to a stop and have dont this a million time over the years any ideas

Gear

I figured it might be my gears. I geared down sthe thop gear and I probably left something loose. They say finger tight is all you need on the chaincase then set the jam nut right ?

That is the correct tension minus 1/4 turn. Haven't torn into it yet? How long ago did you change the gear?

Look closely at the plastic chain tentioner. Drove the bolt threw so you need to take off and inspect. I broke one on my 08 700 when A belt shredded. made the same sound. Happened after I went from a 20 tooth to a 19.
