NO Target Shooting in Snoqualmie National Forest

Enough f'n jack holes have finally done it!! They closed the local wood to target shooting.
It happened to dirt bikes 20 years ago.
it's happening to Snow mobiles for years and years.
Wake up people !! We do it to ourselvse!
Hell, I hiked up to snowlake near Alpental on the 4th and there were sled tracks on the frozen lake. We're not supposed to be up there. Period!!
I just want to throat punch someone!!!

Dirt bikes and sleds aside, the shooting in the populated hiking areas is just flat dangerous. On top of the trash the idiots leave, there are just too many people coming from the city to hit the trails hiking and mtnbiking in that corridor. Half the spots off of exit 38 point towards the highway....

how would you get into snowlake on a sled???

Thanks Shawn for the map! You just have to go a little deeper now for shooting.

You can also get to snow lake from Goldmeyer (sp) through dutch miller gap I think. A sled deck will get you over the gate at dingford.

The tracks on snow lake could have been a rescue also.
