no splines to line up on a xp primary,right?

i watched a couple videos and they had splines.do you just line up the arrows the best you can?thanks.newbie to doos.

Soemtimes when you torque it up the inner piece will turn on you resulting in the marks not lining up. Just have to watch as you torque it
